Formerly released as HTTP Scripting Pages, HTML Scripting Pages is a new client side, ASP-like scripting plugin for Internet Explorer. With HTML Scripting Pages (or HSP for short), you can code the same mixed HTML and VBScript webpages, using the familiar ASP objects (Session, Request and Response). The only difference is that it runs entirely on the client Windows machine - in a single DLL. HSP turns your IE web browser into an interactive programming environment. HTML Scripting Pages, or HSP for short, lets you completely simulate a web server inside Internet Explorer. HSP pages are automatically loaded and executed by IE, so it is seamless to the user. With HSP you can do all of the following without needing Personal Web server installed: Create dynamic, interactive Browser Apps using HSP that run entirely in IE, or in embedded IE ActiveX controls in your VB or C++ programs. Create static or dynamic HTML-based presentations (using Power Point for example) to send to others and run in Internet Explorer. Learn ASP programming with no complicated setup required. Create Training/Education content, Presentations, Surveys or Demos that require dynamic content that you want to distribute on CD. Create Help/Documentation files to distribute and view with the EzHelp Viewer.
