PC Access Guard is easy-to-use software utility that allows you to keep others from accessing your computer. It monitors both mouse and keyboard activities. If either one keyboard button is pressed or mouse button is clicked it generates alarm sound and, if correct password is not typed within a few seconds, it shuts down your computer. You need to use PC Access Guard if you want confidential information to be securely stored while you are away. For example, you may have to leave your computer running all night while Jetico BestCrypt container is mounted. In such case everybody who have access to your computer can view your confidential information! But he won't be able to do that if you use PC Access Guard. As soon as he press any keyboard or mouse button your computer silently shuts down. PC Access Guard does not ask a password on Windows start-up. It lets other programs (i.e. AmiPic ShareMaster download agent) to run automatically. If you need to access your computer the first thing to do is typing the PC Access Guard password. If you forget to do that and press any button you will hear alarm sound. It means you have a few seconds to type the password. If password is correct your computer runs normally until you select "Continue Monitoring" option from PC Access Guard menu. To continue using your computer you then need to type the password again when you come back. To protect your computer PC Access Guard must run in background during Windows session. For this reason it does not have "Exit" or "Quit" commands. You only need to launch PC Access Guard once after installation. Then it places itself in Windows start-up group, so you do not need to launch it manually. The default password supplied with PC Access Guard is "qwerty" (without quotes). For security reasons you should change it to your own password after installing and running PC Access Guard.
