Review

A whimsical collection of painted and sculpted cows grazed all sections of the City of Chicago during a 1999 city-sponsored public art project. The spectacular pieces were found in every part of the City. Most cows were on street corners with a few sensibly placed in small patches of greenery along the sidewalk. Some populated small herds in parks or public buildings, while others guarded bridges.
