One day, almost 25 years ago, gifted nature photographer Kjell B. Sandved noticed a butterfly with the perfect letter 'F' on its wing. Since then, Sandved has searched through the rainforests of South America and New Guinea to the jungles of the Far East. Wading chest deep in ponds, crawling on the ground, looking into blossoms of native plants, and turning over leaves, he sought out brilliantly coloredbutterflies, never catching them in a net or killing them. After a quarter of a century of searching, he has found all 26 letters of the alphabet and the numerals 1 to 9 with many to spare.
