Have you ever felt lost when accessing your bookmark manager? Have you ever felt the need to annotate a bookmark or make a quick note related to some search concept? Have you ever felt the need to have related information, annotated, and easily accessible from a single place? If so, Conceptual Navigator(tm) might be useful to you! Conceptual Navigator is a program that uses a concept-oriented approach to information management. In short, it is a Bookmark Manager and a Comment Manager oriented by concepts! It also has an integrated Web browser (IE based). Although it is designed to store Internet bookmarks, it can also be used in a larger scope to hold notes, bookmarks to all kinds of accessible files (including executable files), and respective comments. This program adds much functionality to that basic framework presented in Concepts Editor 1.0. It still provides a concept-oriented approach for accessing text comments, and bookmarks. It uses a tree of concepts to hold a hierarchy of concepts and associated data. The tree of concepts will make it easier for you to locate the relevant list of bookmarks that you are seeking. The lists of bookmarks can be used to: o hold Internet addresses (Web pages, etc.); o hold file locations on local hard drive or local network; o hold references to launch programs that are useful for specific tasks. Bookmarks may be dragged and dropped into lists of bookmarks. The internal Web browser is an obvious source of bookmarks. The following programs can also be used as drag sources: o Internet Explorer and other Web browsers; o Windows Explorer and other file managers. Please visit the homepage of Conceptual Navigator for additional details.
