Compares 2 text-files and highlights differences found between them. It reports the differences on a line by line basis and highlights the lines that are not in synch. Use it to quickly compare different versions of your .TXT files. But it can also compare webpages (.HTML files), spread-sheet files (as long as they are saved as .CSV or .TXT files) and even reports downloaded from mainframes. Unique scanning features let you narrow down a search across lines and/or positions, skip lines, or stop comparing upon encountering certain characters (to avoid comparing comments, for example).
