TreeDiff is a directory tree comparison and sync utility. Files to compare can be located in directories or in archives (ZIP, JAR, ARJ, RAR) or user-generated Snapshots. The results are displayed side by side, colors illustrating the differences. You can then apply filters, print the results, save them to a text file, perform directory sychronization, and several other file operations (SIMULATION mode makes it safe to use). You can also take a SNAPSHOT of any directory structure and use it as a basis for future comparisons. Fast 32-bit CRC for safe comparisons, NATIVE ultra-fast archive processing requires no additional software to read archives ; handles over 260 million files. Context-sensitive popup menus and help makes it easy to use. In the shareware version, any number of files can be processed but only the first 3,000 files can be viewed.
