AdScan32 is an advanced full text search utility for Windows. With AdScan32, you can instantly search for single words, partial words, word combinations or exact phrases within hierarchically organized collections of documents. Classical Explorer-like interface allows you to easily switch between found documents viewing their contents in the preview pane, and navigate through the found entries forward and back. Search results can be additionally narrowed by conditions imposed on document name, location, date/time and size. Advanced features include selective searches within used-defined data fields that can be established around a regular structure of documents across the collection, if any. The data fields are defined by means of regular expression scripts, new friendly way of composing regular expressions, and assigned textual, numerical, date/time or currency data type being represented as columns in the search result view. AdScan32 has built-in support for working with multilingual ANSI texts. In addition to plain text AdScan32 internally supports RTF and can utilize MS Word text converters while working with DOC, DOT, WRI and others file types.
