CFping is a very compact application for remotely monitoring the health of your ColdFusion server. It is simply a collection of files that you upload to the server and open in your browser. CFping will make nearly simultaneous calls to an htm and a cfm file, measure the return time and compare the times. It will then append the results to a table that you can keep an eye on.
