Content The everlasting registration of the same content is solved with GEM. Once the user registers a new record, song, band or label everybody can use this content for his own requirement. At the moment the user gets access to over: • 22,000 records • 10,000 bands • 4,000 labels • 53,000 songs Note: Scans will come up in a later stage. Marketplace General The search and sale/trade of records assist GEM better than every other solution because the marketplace looks in both directions (seller and buyer). Search area After the user defines a search item the result of matches is in the area <My Search Matches>. If the user is not sure how much will bring up a record he can look in the area <General Search> and see what are other users willing to pay for the related item (if there is the same one in the same quality). Sale/Trade area After the user defines a sale/trade item the result of matches is in the area <My Sale/Trade Matches>. If the user is not sure how much will bring up a record he can look in the area <General Sale/Trade> and see what are other users trying to get for the related item (if there is the same one in the same quality). Analyzing of the content There exist a lot of data sources on web but what is the usage of them if the user can’t analyze the content correctly? With GEM this problem is solved because of many filters in each area which can be used in combination. At the moment the user gets access of: • 28 filters in the record area • 14 filters in the song area • 8 filters in the market place <My Sale/Trade Matches> • 13 filters in the market place <My Search Matches> • 20 filters in the market place <General Sale/Trade> • 14 filters in the market place <General Search> In the cockpit area there are many more features like statistics where the user can evaluate the content of GEM in every way.
