To begin, please read the following information, and then choose the appropriate Notebook software download option for the operating system you are running on your computer. During the installation process, you will be asked to enter a product key to activate the software, so please have your product key available... If you already have SMART Notebook on your computer and you want to upgrade, update SMART Product Update (SPU) first. To update SPU 1. Open any SMART software program. 2. Click Help > Check for Updates. 3. Click the Update button beside SMART Product Update. SPU updates automatically. To upgrade SMART Notebook 1. Repeat steps 1 to 2 above. 2. Click the Update button beside SMART Notebook. SMART Notebook updates automatically. IMPORTANT If you have SMART Response (formerly Senteo) software, follow the download instructions on the SMART Response page . Do not select Yes to uninstall the Gallery if you want to keep your existing Gallery content. On Windows operating systems, uninstall any Notebook software and software drivers earlier than version 9.x before you install version 10. On Mac operating systems, uninstall Notebook software and software drivers for version 9.7 or earlier before you install version 10.
