Review

A powerful tool for publishing and maintaining the databases on the web. It acts as an interface between your visitor's web browser and the database on your web server, generating the dynamic HTML document for any query. It is a CGI program based on the Windows platform, which means that it uses web browser as 'stdin' and 'stdout' (as all other standard CGI programs). It has no database type of it's own, but supports all major database types - Microsoft Access 2.0, 95 and 97 dBASE III, IV and 5.0, Paradox 3.x, 4.x, 5.x, FoxPro 2.0, 2.5, 2.6, 3.0, ASCII text files in tabular format and ODBC data sources. All configuration goes right through HTML form, and WhizBase uses ordinary HTML document as Report template. That makes WhizBase projects very easy for design and maintenance. Trial version works exactly the same as registered Enterprise version but runs only on a local web server.
