WaveCount is a simple Windows application which counts words in text and Rich Text (RTF) format files. It provides a word count, a character count and an average word-length display, and can display totals for all files examined. It has a built-in file searching facility, or you can just drop files onto it from the Windows Explorer. WaveCount is easy to use and comes with full online help and a full setup package including an uninstall option.
