Tar98 is a Windows application that reads and writes UNIX TAR tapes and files. It allows direct transfer of any type of file contained within a TAR archive. With Tar98, it is possible to extract files from an archive (tape, file, or diskette) that was previously created on a UNIX system. It is also possible to create an archive in Windows and seamlessly extract the same files from UNIX. Imagine the possibilities!
