Mobile Data Acquisition Software (Mobile Software Wedge) for Pocket PC, Windows Mobile, Windows CE TWedgeCE is a universal data acquisition software for mobile devices or handhelds. This keyboard wedge software enables you to capture data from external devices (e.g. bar code readers, electronic scales, controllers, analyzers, RFID-readers, WLAN-devices, measurement tools, gauges, ...) with any Pocket PC, Windows CE or Windows Mobile application. Other platforms on request! TWedgeCE supports RS232 (serial interface, COM), Bluetooth, TCP and UDP connections. TWedgeCE reads device data and forwards it to target applications by simulating keystrokes (keyboard wedge operation). Flexible automation functions are available - e.g. you can select the required input field automatically, activate or start applications on demand, or simulate function keys based on input data. Programming knowledge is not required for using this software tool. TWedgeCE is installed by executing a setup application and deploys itself over a Microsoft ActiveSync connection. The configuration is maintained by a single text-based configuration file, this simplifies deployment to multiple mobile devices dramatically. TWedgeCE operates in the background and does not influence other applications - like a watchdog. If needed, you can adjust TWedgeCE to run as "Mini Application" in the task bar - like the system clock.
