Windows 2000 and NT 4.0 for Workstations and servers The Drive Space Monitor (DSM) program installs as a service under Windows 2000 and NT 4.0. It allows you to specify which drives you want to monitor and where you want to send alerts when a space free space threshold has been exceeded. The program runs on your Windows 2000 Professional, Server and NT 4.0 Workstation or Server. The scheduled program can be one meant to run under the current logon, or it can even be a program that runs as a service under NT. In order to map to drives the system running the service should have rights to access the drives. The frequency of the sample period can be every minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, hour or day.
