PictMatch is a picture comparator. This software detects matches (duplicated pictures) across different folders, by visual similarity (comparing brightness, hue and saturation pixel by pixel) within a configurable tolerance) or by exact byte-to-byte comparation (much faster but less useful). Crossing folder matches (pictures in different folders) are also detected. Duplicated pictures can be deleted, renamed or moved to a directory. The program can show you the matches, so you can decide which picture to keep, or the program can take the actions automatically, based on picture resolutions, size and contrast. Optionally, the program can create a BAT file instead of taking the actions instantly. Pictures can also be grouped by similarity into separated subdirectories making it easier to organize them later. There is also the option of generating a report, in four levels of detail, which can be directed to screen, disk or both. Help file and tutorial included.
