It has web interface with the equal form and functionality on the local and apart pcs. Customers watch MPEG coded picture and have full control of the software through net that surveillance pc can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular configuration significantly improves reliability because all units act as independent applications. If one module stops working, other units keep on working. For instance if the `record` component fails, `watchdog` restarts it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` unit. The software makes `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by activity, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on distant station via Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event examination from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
