InterAccess gives you full Internet Database Connectivity - without any ODBC/OLEDB drivers on the client machine. InterAccess is client/server middleware, allowing you to use a single client side COM object in your Internet applications to communicate with a database just as you would using ADO. There are many applications where you need to access a database but it is important to leave the client machine 'clean', such as an Internet software registration program. InterAccess consists of two components: InterAccess Server (Windows NT service) and the InterAccess client COM DLL. This system is designed to allow you to access your database remotely without the need to have any ODBC drivers on the client. All database access is done via the InterAccess server using Microsoft ADO, so all of the ODBC/OLEDB drivers are located there.
