Zoom is a program that allows the user to continuously see in a window parts of the screen which the mouse moves on in customisable magnified size; it also provides a facility to capture and resize those parts. It is small, quick, accurate, free (available in English and Italian). Now with horizontal and vertical stretching for Scan Converter distortion correction, and visually impaired Accessibility features (docking, mouse cursors display, color inversion, following caret and more). Also available as customizable "ocx".
