Vortex ATT can lower and raise the volume with one click. Once loaded, an icon will appear next to the clock in the system tray. A single-click will lower the Windows master volume a given percentage, and a second click will restore the volume. ATT is fully customizable - adjust the time it takes to fade down and up separately and specify whether to load at boot time. ATT also accepts command line parameters to better control fading (for hotkey fans.)
