Tongue Teacher is a program that is designed to help you memorize words in foreign languages. I made this program because I am learning Tagalog, the language of the Philippines, and I wanted an easier way to study it. In this program, you can create files that contain foreign words and their English equivalents. Using those files, Tongue Teacher will randomly display one word at a time and have you type in what you think it is. After either pressing Enter or clicking on the Submit button, you will be told whether you are right or wrong. If you are wrong, the program will display the correct answer. The default setting is to have the program display the English words and have you guess the foreign words, but it can also be set to display the foreign words and have you guess the English equivalents. This will make sure that you are familiar enough with the words in order to both speak and to interpret them. Tongue Teacher also has a feature that shows what percentage you have answered correctly, but this can be turned off if you don't want to see it.
