Free tethered shooting script with bracketing, time lapse and remote shutter release. Can do both JPG and RAW on Nikon DSLR cameras, testing with D40, D300 by author and many other models inlcuding D3, D700, D50, D60, D70 and D80 by other users. Works perfectly in XP SP2 and partially in Vista depending on individual configurations some users are unable to get RAW support on Vista but JPG works for almost everybody. Written as a Hyper Text Application (HTA) it looks like a web page, but it connects to your DSLR camera and allows you to control the camera remotely. You can set the mode (P, M, A, S) and shutter speed or aperture from the computer, then trigger shots with a button either on the camera or on the PC. Optionally it allows you to start up "tethered shooting" so that any shots taken with the camera are immediately downloaded to the PC where they are displayed by DIYPHOTOBITS.COM Camera Control, or you can use Adobe Bridge or Lightroom to view them even better. Time lapse option allows scheduled shooting such as once every 30 seconds. Bracketing allows shots to be automatically taken at plus and minus exposures so that HDR shots are more easily done even if your camera does not support this.
