Galactic Struggle was manufactured in the fall of 1985. Space Monkey Software was on a limited budget, so not many arcade units were made. This is unfortunate because the game is quite good. It was the first space shooter to incorporate depleting laser power (indicated by a green container). This added a unique challenge to the gameplay. Sorry to all of you Rambo's out there. The game offered 7 waves of mayhem. With each wave, the difficulty was increased. Completing all 7 waves was not an easy task (not without wasting a pocket full of quarters, anyway).
