Some History: Stopwatch Pro was designed and built for local 'Fun Run' organisers. They would be frantically working through sheets of paper looking at stopwatches and people's running numbers and noting down positions, etc, as runners crossed the finish line. Seeing how hard and complicated it was to keep track of peoples positions and times in a this situation, and how inaccurate the timing could be at times. I took things into my own hands, and designed and wrote a simple to use program which performs the complex tasks mentioned above. Allowing fewer people to need to work at the finish line and more to read out peoples running numbers to make the recording process easier. The program had its first proper trial run at the last local fun run on 12th May 2007, and performed almost flawlessly. It easily kept up with the manual system which had around 6 people working hard to write down numbers and times. At times the people working on the manual system had to refer to the program to find a runners number, position and time. After the successful trial run, the program had a few extra features added, (such as the ability to freeze and unfreeze the timer,) and the user interface made even easier to use. Since the program was so successful, it is being released for use by organisers of running events, cycling races, swimming races, etc. Infact, anyone that might have a use for it. Limitations: This trial version allows you to run the stopwatch and record times. It does not allow you to save or clear recorded times, or change the windows theme.
