Review

A real time backup system. Unlike other backup programs that can only be performed at the end of the day, Reflexions backs up your files continuously throughout the day, evenwhile they are being used for other processes. Reflexions allows you to select which files you want to backup by putting them in a File list, which you can view on the screen. The system allows you to set an interval (between 0 and 99) of minutes between backups with the minutes trackbar, the number of bytes to be transferred at a time between the source file and the backup file as specified by the number ofbytes trackbar, and gives a low percent of disk space warning if the source drive or backup drives have a used disk space percentage greater than the percentage specified in the low percent trackbar, by the user. The backup destinations can be any valid pathname. When backups occur, the destination alternates between two different pathnames. This is devised so that if a system failure occurs while a backup is in progress, the previous backup is unaffected, and still be restored from. The backup directory which has the last completed backup in it is flagged with a text file called Good.txt. The system interface is based upon the following commands: Backup, Restore, Add New, Remove, Pause, Continue, Stop Backup, Language, and Quit.
