The program has been designed as general software for security hybrid platforms running concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal form and controls on the local and distant pcs. Customers watch MPEG coded picture and have full management of the program using net that security pc can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition drastically boosts reliability because all modules operate as autonomous programs. If one unit freezes, other units go on working. For instance if the `capture` unit fails, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` unit. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant computer using Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
